Blue And White Truck In Motion Blur On The HighwayIt seems more and more common to see prospective jobs that require years of experience and an extensive list of extracurricular activities. And, too often, that experience is just as difficult to get as the job itself. If you find yourself in a similar situation, like many Americans today, consider a career in Professional Truck Driving. Why? The work experience required consists mainly of traits you probably already possess.

Experience is an important, skillful tool for any career. Luckily, the experience necessary for Professional Truck Drivers is a clean driving record, a current driver’s license, and a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Most bachelor programs require around four years of studying and testing to obtain a degree. Throw in the necessity for internships and extracurricular activities to eventually acquire work and the whole process can become a bit daunting. Thankfully, the requirements for obtaining a CDL, the must-have license for Professional Truck Drivers, can be completed in a matter of weeks.

Imagine earning a permanent license and an insightful degree simultaneously. Now imagine completing this course in as little as 3-4 weeks! Not only is it possible, but it happens today all across America.

While still in school, many students are recruited by carriers under an agreement offering the student a permanent position upon completion of training. Considering that, you could be well on your way to a new career in less than a month with the experience problem already behind you!

If you think you’re interested in joining the Professional Truck Driving Industry, fill out the form to the right to contact a Roadmaster representative about earning your CDL, the first step to becoming a Professional Truck Driver.
